The Ranch

Center for Sex Addiction and Intimacy Disorders

Meetings for men and women go to The Ranch treatment center several times a month. 

The women go to the Hilltop House for women on the second Saturday of each month, leaving from O’Charley’s in Bellevue at 5pm. There’s a meeting in the car on the way to Hilltop, we carry the message, and have dinner on the way home. It’s a whole night of fellowship, joy and fun. Six month sobriety requirement to share your story. No sobriety requirement to participate.

The men go to the Swan House for men on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Leaving from the Portable at 5:30pm. Six month sobriety requirement to share your story. No sobriety requirement to participate.

 

The Bridge to Recovery

Healing Trauma & Codependency

A meetings for men and women goes to The Bridge on Saturday, every six weeks.

Caravan leaves from Kmart Parking lot in Goodlettsville, TN at 8am.

The John's School

Nashville, TN

CNN Story: “‘John schools’ try to change attitudes about paid sex”

The men of SA Nashville share their experience, strength, and hope at The John’s School on select Saturdays. The John’s School provides education for men who tried to buy prostitution services and were caught by police.

Intergroup

Intergroup Mission Statement

Intergroup's mission is to serve each group in their primary purpose of carrying the SA message to the sexaholic who still suffers.

Responsibilities of Intergroup

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following;

  • Meet regularly on the 2nd Saturday of each month

  • Operate a telephone answering service and an Internet web site

  • Publish a meeting list of all SA groups in Nashville and surrounding areas

  • Assist in the development of new SA meetings

  • Function as a clearinghouse for the circulation and exchange of information among all the SA groups in Nashville and surrounding areas

  • Carry the SA message to hospitals, institutions, and professional organizations

Trusted Servant Positions of Intergroup

Many opportunities exist to be of service and to be a part of Middle Tennessee Intergroup.  Each of the positions listed below are a one year commitment, with the exception of Trustee and Delegate.

Vice-Chairperson 1 year Maintains By-Laws, fills in for Chairperson, typically serves as Chairperson after serving as Vice-Chairperson.
Treasurer 1 year and

Receives donations from groups, maintains accurate records of income and expenses, maintains prudent reserve, pays period bills (rent for Intergroup, telephone answering service, etc.), passes funds on to SA Central Office.
Secretary 90 days Records and maintains minutes of each monthly Intergroup meeting and distributes the minutes to Intergroup Officers. Maintains confidential listing of Intergroup offices, committee chairs, GSR's, trustees, and delegates.
Communications Committee Chair 90 days Oversee telephone answering service and maintain "in print" version of area meeting listing.
Hospitals and Institutions Committee Chair 1 year Oversee 12th Step visits to hospitals and institutions, holds monthly meeting with Site Panel Leaders.
Internet Committee Chair 1 year Oversees web site and email. Works in conjunction with other chairs in regards to publicity as it relates to the web site.
Intergroup Representative 1 year Serves as liaison between Intergroup and the Southeast Region.
Literature Committee Chair 1 year and
source of income
Maintains a supply of literature and chips (sobriety tokens) for sale to groups or individuals.
Literature Committee Vice-Chair 1 year and
source of income
Works with the Literature Chair in anticipation of serving a second year as Literature Chair
Group Service Representatives Determined by local group, 90 days recommended Serves as liaison between Intergroup and each individual group.
